&nbsp;We will hold a cleanup day to help our immediate community lessen the load of the loose trash and other items that get stuck in our naturalized areas. &nbsp;Please come by and give an hour or two of your time. &nbsp;We will supply the bags and trash grabbers. &nbsp;Recommend wearing long trousers as the growing season has started in our naturalized areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. &nbsp;RESIDENT OWNER AND NON-RESIDENT OWNER PARKING PERMIT (HANGTAG) RENEWALS; SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 2025; 11:00AM to 1:00PM and SUNDAY, APRIL 27,2025; 1:00PM to 3:00PM; POOL PARKING LOT.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Our annual owner guest (\u201changtag\u201d) permit renewal will occur in April again this year.&nbsp; Permits will be distributed on&nbsp;<em><strong>Saturday, April 12, 2025&nbsp; between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;and on&nbsp;<em><strong>Sunday, April 27, 2025&nbsp; between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;at the Pool Parking Lot. &nbsp;The new permits are valid as soon as you receive them.&nbsp; See the postcard that will be mailed on 15 March 2025 and posted on the website after this date for additional information. &nbsp;After May 1st all vehicles using the current resident-owner guest and non-resident-owner hangtag permits will be subject to towing from the community. &nbsp;Owners with questions may call or email the Parking Committee Chair for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. &nbsp;SPRING 2025&nbsp;TREE WORK, PRUNING.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>Work continues from&nbsp;<em><strong>14 through 16 April<\/strong><strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em>2025<\/strong><\/em>.&nbsp; Please do not park where the marked areas are as they are to support tree removals.&nbsp; See the website (meeting packets) for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. &nbsp;BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING; TUESDAY<\/strong><strong>; APRIL 15, 2025; 7:00 PM; VIRTUAL.<\/strong>&nbsp; The monthly board meeting will be conducted via the RingCentral virtual meeting framework.&nbsp; For the virtual meeting information, see the website under \u2018Meetings\u2019, select the year (2025), then the meeting (2025-04-15).&nbsp; Document #01-1 contains the information to join the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6.&nbsp; ACC SPRING 2025 HOME INSPECTION; SATURDAY; APRIL 26, 2025.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Our annual inspection will occur in less than three weeks! &nbsp;The inspection will be conducted by teams. &nbsp;Each team will be led by either a Director or a Summit representative. &nbsp;All teams will have at least one person with previous experience accomplishing the inspection. &nbsp;Please consider giving a few hours of your time to assist on an inspection team \u2013 no experience necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. &nbsp;CURRENT HANGTAG TOWING COMMENCES; MAY 1, 2025.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Our annual resident and non-resident owner hangtag permit renewal will have occurred by this time. &nbsp;Any vehicles using the current hang tags will be towed from the community after this date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. &nbsp;EASTER EGG HUNT.<\/strong>&nbsp; As reported in each of the board meetings this year, this event is canceled due to lack of volunteer support to prepare for and conduct the event.&nbsp; All social events except the Annual Meeting are scheduled for cancellation without additional volunteer support.&nbsp; Contact the Social Committee if you would like to take on any of the canceled events this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. &nbsp;YARD DEBRIS COLLECTION, ONGOING.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Please remember to utilize the yard waste pickup on Wednesday of each week as you are spring cleaning your yards.&nbsp; See the Trash and Recycling link above for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. &nbsp;INDIVIDUAL GROUNDS CARE OFFER FROM J&amp;J LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT, APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.<\/strong>&nbsp; Our&nbsp;grounds care contractor is again offering residences in our community the ability to have your private yards maintained. &nbsp;The care options include turf care, lawn care, and leaf removal. &nbsp;Please refer to the link listed above in the Seasonal Links section, just scroll down the page to the applicable information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11.&nbsp; POOL SEASON, 2025.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;The pool opens in less then two months!&nbsp; The board approved a new phone-based application and entry system in February 2025.&nbsp; Further information to follow from the Pool Committee on training and operations.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12.&nbsp; BRADDOCK ROAD STOP SIGN AND MESSAGE BOARD.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;The replacement of the stop sign has occurred.&nbsp; Message board replacement still in-progress.&nbsp; We are also replacing the message boards at the pool for the upcoming pool season on the same timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>13<\/strong><strong>.&nbsp; COMMUNITY SECURITY. &nbsp;<\/strong>If out-of-the-ordinary events occur and you are concerned for your safety or security please notify the Police non-emergency number (703) 691-2131 to report the occurrence. &nbsp;While we advertise a Neighborhood Watch on our signs there has been a lack of interest in the past to actually set one up. &nbsp;If you are interested in participating please let me know. &nbsp;If we have sufficient interest we will restart the process with the County but not before we see sufficient volunteers to make the effort worthwhile. &nbsp;As always, please consider leaving your porch lights on throughout the night, remember to lock your vehicle doors, and notify the non-emergency number should you experience some kind of security event in the future.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14. &nbsp;OWNER ACCOUNT PORTAL.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;This is a recurring topic for many of our owners.&nbsp; Each owner has the ability to access their account through a portal Summit Management offers. &nbsp;To access the portal, please go to our website and select the \u2018Living in PWCA\u2019 tab. &nbsp;Scroll down the page to the button \u2018Vantaca Owner Login\u2019. &nbsp;If you have not already done so, Vantaca will prompt you to create a login. &nbsp;Once you login you\u2019ll be able to access your owner information to include the status of your account. &nbsp;This also provides an avenue to pay any balances due on the account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15. &nbsp;OPEN DIRECTOR POSITION.<\/strong>&nbsp; Request your consideration to place your name forward to fill our open Director position.&nbsp; We are looking for people who are invested in making a better community for all who reside here.&nbsp; If you are interested please complete and submit an Application for Candidacy that may be found on our website and is listed above in the links.&nbsp; The Nominating Committee will reach out to you after you complete that step.&nbsp; If you have questions I\u2019m also available to speak with you about more specifics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regards,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning.&nbsp; Please review at your convenience&#8230;..
