- Sunday: 11:00AM \u2013 6:00PM. Human Operating Hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Sunday: 6:00PM. Pool closed for human swimming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Sunday: 6:00PM \u2013 7:00PM. Puppy Plunge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Sunday: 7:00PM. Pool closed for season.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
2. POOL BATHROOMS BECOME BY PERMISSION USE AND POOL FURNITURE STORAGE; SUNDAY; SEPTEMBER 7, 2025; 3:00PM; POOL DECK. <\/strong> It\u2019s time to store our furniture for the off-season. We will start around this time and depending on patrons at the pool slowly reduce the furniture on the pool deck and get it stored in the pool house. As we will have people working in both bathrooms they will still be available for use but please request their use during this time period. Our goal is to be finished with all our storage requirements when we reach the end of the operating day at 7:00PM. Please consider giving us a few hours of your time to get our pool ready for the off-season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n3.\u00a0 PUPPY PLUNGE; SUNDAY; SEPTEMBER 7, 2024; 6:00PM; POOL.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0During the final hour of the season we\u2019ll again let the dogs have their hour in the pool!\u00a0 Please review the rules for this event found in the pool section of our website.\u00a0 Bring proof of your 2025 Fairfax County dog license with you. This can either be the current tag or the current receipt from the County. The tag or receipt will be returned to you after review. You will also need to sign the Puppy Plunge Agreement prior to entering the pool deck with your dog. We will have two dog egress locations (the permanent steps and a temporary dog ramp) in the main pool. The main pool and the wading pool will both be available for your dogs\u2019 enjoyment during the 6:00 PM-7:00 PM hour.\u00a0 We are not supporting this event as a Social Committee-sponsored event so there will not be treats for the dogs this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n4. <\/strong>FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING; TUESDAY; SEPTEMBER 9, 2025; 7:00PM; VIRTUAL. <\/strong>The September 2025 Finance Committee Meeting will focus on the second review of the Draft 2026 PWCA Budget to be presented to the Board and residents at the BoD meeting. Please consider attending as we discuss the future orientation of the Association in consonance with the Governing Documents as articulated through our Strategic Plan. Please use the same information to enter the meeting as used for the regular Board of Directors Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n5. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING; TUESDAY; SEPTEMBER 16, 2025; 7:00 PM; VIRTUAL. <\/strong>The monthly board meeting will be conducted via the RingCentral virtual meeting framework. For the virtual meeting information, see the website under \u2018Meetings\u2019, select the year (2025), then the meeting (2025-09-16). Document #01-1 contains the information to join the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n6. 2025 SOCIAL EVENTS.<\/strong> As a reminder, without more volunteers to prepare for and stage our events all social events are planned for cancellation this year due to the lack of volunteer support. Please contact the Social Committee if you’d like to stage of the upcoming events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n7. PARK WEST PAGES, AUGUST 2025 EDITION.<\/strong> The August 2025 edition of Park West Pages <\/em>has been released \u2013 please see the website for the document. The Hospitality Committee also have hard copies of the edition if you\u2019d like a printed copy. There are also a few copies for you to take at the pool house in the \u2018Newsletters\u2019 binder near the entry door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n8. INDIVIDUAL GROUNDS CARE OFFER FROM J&J LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT, APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.<\/strong> Our grounds care contractor is again offering residences in our community the ability to have your private yards maintained. The care options include turf care, lawn care, and leaf removal. Please refer to the link listed above in the Seasonal Links section, just scroll down the page to the applicable information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n9<\/strong>. COMMUNITY SECURITY. <\/strong>If out-of-the-ordinary events occur and you are concerned for your safety or security please notify the Police non-emergency number (703) 691-2131 to report the occurrence. While we advertise a Neighborhood Watch on our signs there has been a lack of interest in the past to actually set one up. If you are interested in participating please let me know. If we have sufficient interest we will restart the process with the County but not before we see sufficient volunteers to make the effort worthwhile. As always, please consider leaving your porch lights on throughout the night, remember to lock your vehicle doors, and notify the non-emergency number should you experience some kind of security event in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n10. OWNER ACCOUNT PORTAL. <\/strong> This is a recurring topic for many of our owners. Each owner has the ability to access their account through a portal Summit Management offers. To access the portal, please go to our website and select the \u2018Living in PWCA\u2019 tab. Scroll down the page to the button \u2018Vantaca Owner Login\u2019. If you have not already done so, Vantaca will prompt you to create a login. Once you login you\u2019ll be able to access your owner information to include the status of your account. This also provides an avenue to pay any balances due on the account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n11. OPEN DIRECTOR POSITION.<\/strong> Request your consideration to place your name forward to fill our open Director position. We are looking for people who are invested in making a better community for all who reside here. If you are interested please complete and submit an Application for Candidacy that may be found on our website and is listed above in the links.
