Good afternoon to all. Please see below items for your consideration:
1. CHILI COOKOFF and HALLOWEEN FEST, OCTOBER 26, 2019, 4:00PM. The CHILI COOKOFF IS ON!!!!!! My thanks to two of our residents who stepped forward to take on the preparation work needed for the Chili Cookoff.
To make this event a success, we need volunteers! Here is a link to the sign-up sheet:
We’ll obviously need volunteers to create their own chili to have the competition. Side dishes and desserts are also needed.
We’ll have prizes for Best Chili and a childrens’ prizes for Best Costume and Best Painted Pumpkin.
Volunteers for setup and teardown are GREATLY needed. Setup will occur at 2:30PM.

2. GLASS RECYCLING. Glass recycling is NO LONGER supported for curb side pickup in Fairfax County. EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 11 2019, recycling containers that contain glass will be considered contaminated and will not be picked up. Please see the following article for further information – including a map to the purple containers Fairfax County has placed for glass recycling if you wish to utilize that method for

3. ANNUAL MEETING, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2019, 8:00PM, Lord of Life Lutheran Church. The 2019 meeting will occur in the same location as last year. The Annual Meeting Notice and Call for Candidates will be distributed in the near future. Please consider submitting your name for election this year. Fresh insight and enthusiasm is welcomed on the board.
4. MONTHLY BOARD MEETING, OCTOBER 15, 2019, 7:00PM. Please see the website for further information.
