INFORMATION ITEMS:

1.  RESIDENT OWNER AND NON-RESIDENT OWNER PARKING PERMIT RENEWAL (STICKERS AND HANG TAGS); SATURDAY; APRIL 13, 2024; 10:00 AM TO 1:00 PM; POOL PARKING LOT.  For Resident and Non-Resident Owners ONLY.  If you submitted your paperwork then the first of two windows to pick up your new passes is TODAY.  Permits will also be distributed on Sunday, April 21, 2024  between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the Pool Parking Lot.  REMINDER – this IS NOT applicable to tenant permits.  The new permits are valid as soon as you receive them.  All current permits MUST be removed from your vehicle(s) and replaced with the new permits by May 1, 2024.  After May 1, 2024 all vehicles with the now current permits are subject to towing/removal.  If you have not applied by this time please do not expect to have passes ready for your residence during the distribution windows – the longer you delay will delay your pass issuance past the May 1st towing date.  I recommend you should consider alternate parking arrangements until your passes are ready for pickup.  All Resident and Non-Resident owners must apply in order to receive new permits.  If needed, please follow the link listed above in the Seasonal Links section.

2 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING; TUESDAY; APRIL 16, 2024; 7:00 PM; VIRTUAL.  The monthly board meeting will be conducted via the RingCentral virtual meeting framework. 3.  PWCA COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY; SATURDAY; APRIL 20, 2023; 10:00AM; POOL PARKING LOT.  NEXT SATURDAY!!!!!!!  In support of Earth Day 2024 we will hold our Spring Cleanup Day to help our immediate community lessen the load of the loose trash and other items that get stuck in our naturalized areas.  Please come by and give an hour or two of your time.  We will supply the bags and trash grabbers.  Recommend wearing long trousers as the growing season has started in our naturalized areas.

4.  ACC SPRING 2024 HOME INSPECTION; SATURDAY; APRIL 27, 2024; 10:00 AM; POOL PARKING LOT FOR INSPECTION VOLUNTEERS.  Our spring inspection is two weeks away!  Inspections will be conducted by teams if sufficient volunteers are present.  Each team will be led by either a Director or a Summit Management representative.  All teams will have at least one person with previous experience accomplishing the inspection.  Please consider giving us a few hours of your time to assist on an inspection team – no experience necessary.

5.  POOL SEASON, 2024; POOL PASS APPLICATIONS DUE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY; APRIL 30, 2024.  We are 6 weeks away from our pool opening for the season. The Pool Application link is listed above and it may also be found on our website.  The applications have started to to arrive – please send them in at your earliest convenience to assist our volunteers who have to create the passes for you.  As with the parking permits, if you miss the April 30th deadline we will not guarantee you will have your passes for the start of the season.  If you have any interest in helping with this process please contact the Pool Committee.

6.  RESIDENT OWNER AND NON-RESIDENT OWNER CURRENT PARKING PERMIT (STICKERS AND HANG TAGS) TOWING COMMENCES; WEDNESDAY; MAY 1, 2024.  Any vehicles using the current resident owner and non-resident owner permits will be towed from the community after this date.

7.  EASTER EGG HUNT REVIEW AND PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS TO JULY 4TH EVENT.  Thanks to the volunteers that stepped forward to run the event this year.  We had a new challenge this year that attracted people not from our community – as a result we are considering modifying the July 4th event entrance requirements.  A review of the event and the proposed modifications will be discussed at the April Board Meeting if you’d like to participate in the discussion.

8.  INDIVIDUAL GROUNDS CARE OFFER FROM J&J LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT, APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  Our grounds care contractor is again offering residences in our community the ability to have your private yards maintained.  The care options include turf care, lawn care, and leaf removal.  Please refer to the link listed above in the Seasonal Links section, just scroll down the page to the applicable information, or contact myself if you cannot access the information.

9.  GROUNDS CARE REMINDERS.  Spring growing is definitely here and we are already three mows into the season.  As a reminder, please keep the following items in mind during the growing season. #1 – keep your vehicle bumpers off the curb during mowing days as the crew cannot mow, edge or trim (as appropriate) when your vehicle is parked on top of the turf. #2 – For those of you who have landscaped up to the sidewalk – you are responsible to keep the sidewalk edge nearest your residence clean if the edger cannot be operated safely. #3 – Keep all items stored inside your fence / or your property for those without rear fences. See the ACC and ECC Rules for additional information.

Enjoy your weekend – hope to see you at our clean-up day next Saturday!

Regards,

Mark
